Circles
Around the Year 2013
Context:
This was done using only a mathematical compass and a four-colored pen. This is my favorite core design that I've created, and I surprised myself when the color pattern behaved well, with the colored areas of each overlapping circle not touching another area of its color, with only four different radii used.
Unfortunately, there is no other image or rough draft I have of this project.
I plan to one day remake this pattern digitally, but I am happy with keeping it in the physical world.
 I had started selecting the colors from the inside to the outside, making the rule to have no colored shape touch another of its color. Red not next to red, blue not next to blue, and green not next to green. It worked perfectly. |  The six-leaf design is familiar enough when working with circles, but the alternating colors between rippling circles from the center of the design makes this one unique. |
